It's too scary for words that art dealers are seeking to con the world with the garbage of the 50s.Reminds me of when similar was occurring with Australian indigenous art..........if it was vaguely pointillism and executed in ochres,it HAD to be Art!
Maureen, I'm glad you were tempted. As to the art world confusion, it has nothing to do with Art. The merchandisers are only borrowing the word. The magic is in the studio. The upside is that there are still serious viewers who trust their eye.
